From Brain Hemorrhage to Returning to Work: His 8-Course Jour

Mr. Yang, 46 years old, is the founder of a technology company. In the eyes of many, he was the epitome of success—wise, decisive, and always on the move. Yet fate never announces its turning points. One day in 2018, a sudden brainstem hemorrhage struck him down from the peak of life into the abyss.

After more than 30 days in a coma, he eventually woke up, but his life was completely changed—hemiplegia on the right side, difficulty walking, slurred speech, choking while swallowing, and total loss of independence in daily life. He was forced to leave work, relying on family care, spending his days in a wheelchair. The physical constraints brought immense psychological pressure; he suffered from extremely poor sleep, depression, and relied on Stilnox for sleep and Norvasc for blood pressure. Rehabilitation in multiple hospitals achieved limited results, recovery was slow, and he began to doubt whether he would ever return to his former self.

On the recommendation of friends, Mr. Yang came to United Life International Medical Center. The expert team, based on the 1+5+N health management methodology, centered on neural reconstruction to "reboot" the body’s repair systems from a deeper level.

First was neural reconstruction: stem cell infusions activated neuroplasticity and promoted neural connection repair. Then brain-gut axis reconstruction: replenishing beneficial gut microbiota to restore balance and improve the central inflammatory environment. Neural signal transmission reconstruction was added by supplementing neurotrophic factors to optimize neurotransmitter conduction, enhancing coordination and responsiveness. Vascular reconstruction followed: lipid-lowering and thrombolysis improved microcirculation and cerebral blood supply. Finally, psychological reconstruction: mindfulness and emotional guidance helped relieve anxiety and chronic stress.

After 8 courses of intervention, Mr. Yang’s life underwent substantial changes:

First, his sleep quality improved significantly. He no longer relied on a full Stilnox tablet; now just one-third of a pill allows him to fall asleep quickly, and his daytime energy improved markedly. Next, his walking ability improved—previously unable to walk 300 meters in 30 minutes without sweating and gasping, he can now easily walk 400 meters in 15 minutes with almost no sweating. To his surprise, his sense of temperature also returned. For over two years since the stroke, he constantly felt "as if on fire" and never feared the cold. Now, he can finally sense hot and cold again, something he once thought lost forever. Muscle tone also improved dramatically: his left elbow, once stuck at a 90-degree angle, can now naturally extend close to 170 degrees. Daily activities became easier, and he even regained partial working capacity. Today, Mr. Yang has gradually returned to the workplace, once again standing at the conference table. The more than two years of hardship did not defeat him; instead, the recovery process taught him a renewed understanding of the weight of life. He said: "It’s not that I regained control of life, but that my body and I are finally walking together again."
