On the morning of June 26, 2025, the "The Key to Tumor Treatment — Exploring the Path of Tumor Treatment and Prevention from Etiology" seminar, hosted by United Life (Hengqin), was successfully held in the academic lecture hall on the 7th floor of United Life. The conference focused on cutting-edge topics such as tumor etiology, innovative strategies in immunotherapy, and new paths in prevention, providing forward-looking ideas for advancing tumor prevention and treatment methods.
The seminar officially opened under the chairmanship of President Shi Xian of United Life. At the beginning, Wu Bo delivered a speech introducing the efforts, explorations, and achievements United Life has made in the field of tumor prevention and treatment over the past decade. He also expressed high expectations for Professor Guohui Lu’s full-time appointment at United Life, believing it would provide strong momentum for technological innovation in tumor prevention and treatment. Wu emphasized that Professor Lu’s joining would accelerate breakthroughs and development in the field of refractory diseases. Afterwards, a grand appointment ceremony was held, officially appointing Professor Guohui Lu as Chief Medical Officer of United Life.
Professor Guohui Lu completed postdoctoral training at Yale University, New York University, and the Medical University of South Carolina. He previously served as the first Director of Clinical Cytogenetic Diagnostics at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is one of the pioneers in three major fields in China: clinical genetic counseling, prenatal genetic disease diagnosis, and hereditary tumors, with profound expertise in oncology.
Professor Lu elaborated in detail from the unique perspective of regenerative medicine, covering four aspects: the fundamentals of regenerative medicine and oncology; hereditary tumors and prevention proposals; cancer prevention and control systems; and the implementation of tumor regenerative medicine into practice. His sharing opened up a new vision for the participants, providing innovative approaches and methods to improve the quality of life and extend the survival of cancer patients.
Wu Bo focused on the key aspects of immune reconstruction and out-of-hospital rehabilitation management for tumor patients. He proposed an innovative model called the "Golden Three-Dimensional Therapy," consisting of one-third in-hospital treatment, one-third immune reconstruction, and one-third out-of-hospital rehabilitation. Wu emphasized that scientific immune reconstruction and comprehensive rehabilitation management are crucial for improving the quality of life and survival rates of cancer patients. After more than ten years of exploration in refractory diseases, United Life has provided valuable references and new ideas for the industry.
During the expert dialogue session, Wu Bo and Professor Guohui Lu engaged in an in-depth discussion on the core topic, "Exploring Tumor Treatment and Prevention from the Etiological Perspective." Combining their respective research fields and clinical experiences, they exchanged ideas on how to more effectively approach tumor prevention and treatment from the root causes.
At the conclusion of the seminar, participants summarized the discussions and took a group photo, marking a successful end to the event. This sharing session not only created a platform for experts, scholars, and industry peers in the field of tumor prevention and treatment to exchange and collaborate but also injected new momentum into the transformation and application of innovative achievements. Attendees expressed that the session provided them with deeper insights and understanding of tumor prevention and treatment. They also pledged to continue working together in the future to explore new paths in tumor prevention and treatment, striving to improve the quality of life and survival rates of cancer patients, and to make greater contributions to human health.
