Mr. Zhao’s Story: Rebuilding Confidence in Life with Immunity

Mr. Zhao, 43 years old, is the head of technology at a mid-sized company. He neither smokes nor drinks, lives a regular life, and except for occasional late-night overtime, he always considered himself healthy. However, a routine physical examination in 2019 changed the course of his life.

The examination report showed: HbsAg positive, AFP (Alpha-fetoprotein) continuously elevated. Further imaging tests revealed a hepatic space-occupying lesion, and he was diagnosed with primary liver cancer.

The news was like a bolt from the blue. His wife cried until her eyes were red, while Mr. Zhao remained silent for a long time, finally saying: "I’m only in my early forties, and my child is still in elementary school. I cannot fall."

The doctor advised immediate interventional treatment. Mr. Zhao underwent 1 TACE (Transcatheter Arterial Chemoembolization) and 2 RFA (Radiofrequency Ablation) procedures, but soon realized that local treatment alone could not fundamentally improve his immune environment. After surgery, his physical strength dropped significantly, his sleep worsened, and he lived in long-term anxiety.

When he and his family felt lost, a friend recommended United Life’s “Immune Reconstruction Program”, which brought new hope.

With evaluation and guidance from the United Life International Medical Center team, Mr. Zhao began a systematic immune intervention. His treatment started with cellular reconstruction—he received 8 CIK cell infusions and 5 NK cell infusions. These cells acted like "well-trained special forces," precisely identifying and eliminating residual cancer cells in the body while activating his own anti-tumor immune responses.

At the same time, he also completed the other four major steps of immune reconstruction. The first was gut reconstruction: replenishing beneficial bacteria, repairing gut flora, and stabilizing the immune system’s "frontline base"; the second was element reconstruction: supplementing key anti-inflammatory and immune-regulating trace elements to balance the internal environment; then came nutritional reconstruction: a personalized diet plan tailored to his metabolism and post-surgery recovery needs, improving recovery efficiency; and finally, psychological reconstruction: mindfulness training and emotional support helped him relieve "post-cancer anxiety" and rebuild psychological resilience.

At every stage of treatment, Mr. Zhao was highly cooperative. He was no longer just a "patient waiting for results," but gradually became an "active participant" in regulating his own body and emotions.

Months later, the follow-up results brought great joy to the whole family: HbsAg turned negative, AFP dropped to 2.02 ng/ml, returning to normal. More importantly, during four years of regular follow-ups, no recurrence was detected. Mr. Zhao’s physical condition stabilized, and his work and life essentially returned to normal.

Today, he often participates in cancer support groups, encouraging newly diagnosed patients with his own experience: "Fighting cancer is not a sprint but a marathon of rebuilding the body’s systems. What truly helps us reach the finish line is immunity and faith."
